Some might be wondering why we at HostTDS are offering EyeOS to you for free. The answer is quite simple, actually -- We support the open source community and wish to provide more ways for open source projects to be carried into the public hands. By offering a basic advertisement-free plan at no cost to the public with options for upgrades, we are able to provide a service to hundreds, if not thousands of users at little to no cost. Our income from these upgrade packages only help keep us afloat as offering free services uses server resources of which are not free. We also do not wish to place advertisements on our EyeOS clients' desktops as it would only be an intrusion of desktop space and potentially privacy.

What do we request in return? Absolutely nothing. We only request that all content is kept legal. Our free package offers 512 Megabytes of storage space as well as 25,000 Megabytes of bandwidth per month. This allows you to store your files in a safe and secure environment of which is backed up daily and kept secure from the public. As your installation is fully encrypted as well, you can be sure that your usernames and passwords are kept private and secure.
